Her mother died in a car accident. Since then, Tohru began to love in a tent all by herself and she supports herself for a living. The reason is that so she would not be a burden to her relatives. She learned what it meant to experience something that did not exactly fit in with everything that surrounds her. Fortunately one day, she accidentally found a home, which was an isolated house.
